When you call Wholesome Dentistry, we will answer as best as we can any questions you may have about your visit. Your first visit will include a dental exam, possibly a dental cleaning, and maybe a few x-rays if the doctor needs them for diagnosing disease. Our hygienists will give you a few tips on good oral hygiene habits, and good products.
If you are in discomfort and need to see us right away, then your first visit will involve an exam to diagnose the cause of the pain, probably an x-ray, and a plan for treatment.
You can print out the patient forms we need to have on file and have them ready when you come to your appointment. Or you can come to your appointment 10 minutes early, and fill them out at our office.
We look forward to seeing you!
Financials and Insurance
You are welcome at our practice whether you have insurance or not.
Options for payment:
- All major credit cards
- Financing options through CareCredit
Payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. If your insurance covers dental treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Remember that insurance policies vary widely, and we will review your insurance to determine the appropriate course of action. As a courtesy to our patients, we will file insurance claims on your behalf.
If you are not sure what insurance you have, give us a call and we can help you sort it out. (210 344-2384) Please remember that dental insurance is more like a dental discount plan and, unlike medical insurance, typically covers only a small portion of treatment costs, if any. If, during the course of treatment, your benefits change, the financially responsible party is accountable for all charges.
Our fees are very reasonable, and we will file your claim for you. We also provide you with financial estimates before treatment is started, so you can feel at ease about the cost of dental work.
Call us, and we will try to answer your questions as best as we can.
